Meet Theresa
As a leading Real Estate Agent, Theresa is an active member of Long and Foster’s gold team and Luxury Alliance. She is a certified Luxury Specialist and among the top 1% of producers at Long and Foster. She is consistently in the top 100 agents in DC Metro Real Producers and consistently been voted Best of Washingtonian, Top Agents Northern Virginia Magazine, Top Agents Arlington Magazine, and Top Producer AAREA A-List.
Theresa graduated from the University of Virginia in 1996 with a B.A. in Spanish and Economics. She then began a successful sales career working for UBS in New York City where she rose to the rank of Director in Emerging Markets Fixed Income Sales covering Latin American clients. Using her fluency in Spanish to communicate and transact with her clients, she developed not only professional relationships but also long-term friendships with many of her customers as a key member of the Emerging Markets team.
Following the birth of her first child in 2002, Theresa returned to her hometown of McLean, Virginia, where her career focus turned to real estate. After obtaining her license over 20 years ago, Theresa was able to combine her passion for real estate with her love of helping clients. She was also instrumental in the staging and sale of homes built by her husband’s company, Great Jones Developments. Theresa is truly an area specialist with a wealth of local knowledge of the NOVA markets. She loves that Northern Virginia has first-class schools and tight-knit neighborhoods offering a wonderful community feel while also offering easy access to D.C. She is the leading agent for land sales in McLean’s Franklin Park.
Theresa works with a strong sense of compassion for her clients as she understands the emotional process of buying, selling, or building a home. She prides herself on making the transaction process as smooth and pleasant as possible. Putting the client first is her number one priority. She cares deeply about the client’s experience and finding the perfect fit, be it finding the right home to purchase or ensuring that the sale of what is likely the client’s largest asset goes well. She enjoys building strong relationships with her clients so that she can be of help now and whenever her services are needed again in the future.
